Free Business Cards for Every
Massage Club Member

The other day I was eating dinner alone in my underwear in front of my computer. I just had to look in the mirror and say, “Hey, what’s wrong with this picture?”

We have the great advantage of advanced technologies and electronic gadgets. These things keep us instantly and constantly connected. As a result, it’s easy to slip into that isolated world of electronic community and forget that the goal in life is to deepen our participation in the human community.

...or take the Massage Club Business Card Challenge and meet someone authentic today!

Is the Massage Club guilty of contributing to the disconnect? Mindlessly responding to profiles allows us to function to closely to the surface. We are communicating on the run from that top, thin layer of our thoughts. To make a real connection we need to go a little deeper than those one sentence e-mails sent to some computer’s inbox. We need to take a moment, reflect, access our courage and then reach out to a person.

We need to re-learn the art of conversation and connecting. So - I am proposing a Massage Club Business Card Challenge. Here is how it works:

Give you business card to at least two attractive people each day for the next 45 days. The more individuals you approach the easier this will get. Remember the real goal is to get over the fear of handing out your card and to re-learn the art of conversation – it’s not about getting their business card or making an actual trade date. So – the outcome is unimportant.

forget the old Massage Club concept of building community by surfing profiles. The rules have changed.

Get out and really connect in a human way.

Be sure to maintain eye contact and say something like:

“Excuse me. I know this is going to sound strange, but if I don’t ask you now, I’ll be kicking myself for the rest of the day. I’m running to meet a friend [i.e., I have friends and am not a stalker.] but I think you are [extremely, drop dead] cute [gorgeous, hot]. I’d be interested in trading bodywork with you sometime [giving you a free massage]. May I give you my business card? If you’re into it, give me a call. If not, just pitch this into the trash after I leave."

Stop wasting away the day in front of your computer and get out and add a little passion to the act of living!
